Picnic with the Pixies

Date: Saturday - March 23rd, 2013
Start Time: 01:00:00 PM

The Faerie Kingdom comes alive as we gather for food and games at the beautiful Grapevine Botanic Gardens. Fairies, pixies, elves, gnomes, and fae creatures of all types can be found at this gathering, and curious humans are welcome as well... if they dare to step into our fairy ring!

Your attire can draw inspiration from any historical period, movie, fandom, genre, or your own pure creativity. So what will you be? A Regency fairy? An elf from Middle Earth? A steampunk fairy hunter? Let your imagination run wild!

This event is free and very family friendly. Please bring your own picnic gear, and you can either provide your own meal or go pot-luck with the group. Check the DFWCG Yahoo group page the weeks before the event if you would like to share a dish.

We will gather by the covered pavilion and the grassy lawn close to the parking lot on the South side of the park. After eating, we can play games and stroll around the gardens for pictures and sight-seeing.
