One of the items lost in the long years was the artwork for the Conradh logo. So, a new one had to be created. The new one incorporates many of the elements of the old logo, including colors, the book, the crests of Ulster, Leinster, Munster, and Connacht, and the circular shape. However the new one incorporates one more shield - Texas. Additionally, the name of the Dallas/Ft. Worth branch of the Gaelic League was added, ”The Friendship Branch” (Craobh Chairdeas).
For fun, a CafePress store was created to take advantage of the new logo. Some of our favorites include the “Got Irish?” bumper sticker and of course, shirts. Click the “Store” link up top or follow this link:

Work is underway to re-establish the Conradh in the DFW area. To that end, we’ve purchased a domain name and some space on a web server. Hopefully this new site will serve as a central place online where we can discuss, plan, and organize. We’re using some of the neat features that are freely available to us these days on the internet to make our homepage more dynamic and useful.
If you’d like to help, drop us a line via the comments page! Tada gan iarracht!

Congratulations to our Leaschathairleach, Paul Grogan, wife Gail, and daughter Siobhán, on the arrival of Ciarán Seán Grogan on May 9th at about 2:30 a.m.! Ciarán made his entrance at 8 lbs. 8 oz., 20 inches, and he was in a hurry, with the doctor commenting that all he needed was his catching mitt. Well done, Grogan family!
